This cozy one room log cabin was built in 1953 and is located in a safe, friendly Illinois town that is part of St. Louis metro area. You can walk to town (restaurants, craft breweries, wine bar, shops, concerts, plays) and you’re still close to St. Louis attractions.

Features

The large log king bed is one of the primary features of the cabin. Comfortable with lots of pillows.

Watch tv from bed, living area or kitchen. If you need an extra bed, the log futon easily becomes a double bed, and extra linens and blankets are provided.

The kitchen is well stocked if you want to stay in and cook and features a granite counter top and 4 bar stools. While the stone fireplace isn’t operable, we supply an electric insert that provides ambiance and can heat the cabin in the cold months. The rustic bathroom has a shower.

Driveway passes through from front street to back alley (side street access). Gravel driveway with ample room for two cars.

We’re across the street from the historic stage coach stop Peterstown House and walking distance to restaurants, theaters, and shopping. Enjoy summer Tuesday night band concerts and Sunday concert series at the town square. Choose from several area public golf courses, parks, wineries and craft beer brewing companies.

Easy drive to downtown St. Louis and larger shopping centers. Close to the main highways of 255, I-55, I-44, I-64 & I-70.

*For guests 12 and older, A dog is considered with prior approval. Non-smoking home, no parties.
